Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automating tests for mobile applications and websites. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks, writing test scripts, and ensuring the quality and performance of applications across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand features and technical implementation.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously improve test processes and frameworks for higher efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, Appium, Playright or similar tools for web and mobile automation.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Xcode, or mobile simulators/emulators.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and testing tools like Postman.
• Exposure to cross-platform and browser compatibility testing.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, etc
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Browser Stack, Sauce Labs).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum teams.
• ISTQB or any QA certification is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
