Job Description

Position: Jr purchase

Location Dobbaspet

Position: Contract role for 2 years based on you're performance it will be full time later.

Role & responsibilities

Main / Essential Tasks

Assist in
vendor development and vendor follow-up
activities
Coordinate with suppliers for
quotations, delivery schedules, and order confirmations
Prepare
comparative statements
and support quotation analysis
Support
material planning
based on consumption and production requirements
Generate and track
purchase orders
in the system
Follow up with vendors to ensure
on-time material delivery
Maintain purchase records and support
ISO documentation
Ensure compliance with
company purchase policies and procedures
Assist in monitoring material availability to support production schedule

Competencies Required

Basic knowledge of
purchase processes (direct & indirect sourcing)
Understanding of
vendor coordination and supplier interaction
Basic knowledge of
machining processes
such as turning, drilling, tapping, and milling
Familiarity with
machine tools
is an added advantage

Skills Required

Good communication and coordination skills
Basic
negotiation and follow-up skills
Ability to read and understand
technical drawings
(basic level)
Working knowledge of
SAP MM (mandatory / preferred)
Proficiency in
Google Workspace
(Docs, Sheets, Mail)
Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment
