Junior PHP Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development and a solid understanding of PHP and related technologies. You will assist in building, testing, and maintaining web applications and work closely with senior developers and designers. Key Responsibilities: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and backend systems Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements Troubleshoot and debug existing applications Work with databases (MySQL or similar) to manage data Participate in code reviews and team meetings Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Basic experience with version control systems like Git Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Exposure to PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations Familiarity with MVC architecture Knowledge of Linux/Unix command line Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible working hours Professional development opportunities Friendly and collaborative work environment Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
