As a Junior PHP Developer with 1-2 years of experience specializing in the CodeIgniter framework, your role will involve developing and maintaining web applications. You will collaborate closely with the senior development team to ensure efficient and secure code following industry best practices. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework. - Write clean, efficient, and secure code following industry best practices. - Optimize application performance, troubleshoot bugs, and implement fixes. - Design and maintain database structures, queries, and stored procedures in MySQL. - Integrate third-party APIs and web services as required. - Work with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap) to enhance UI/UX. - Ensure application security, data protection, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and senior developers on various projects. - Stay updated with CodeIgniter updates, PHP advancements, and web development trends. To qualify for this position, you should have the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred). - 1-2 years of experience in PHP development with CodeIgniter framework. - Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, indexing, and optimization. - Experience with RESTful API development and integration. - Familiarity with Git version control and deployment processes. - Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles. - Experience with AJAX, JSON, and API handling. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
