About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Provide L1 and L2 support for network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices 2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure high availability and reliability 3. Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices and systems 4. Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades under supervision Identify, diagnose, and resolve network faults and performance issues promptly 5. Collaborate with senior network engineers to design and implement network improvements 6. Document network configurations, processes, and incidents accurately 7. Support incident management processes by logging and tracking network-related tickets and requests 8. Assist with network security tasks such as managing access controls, firewalls, and VPNs 9. Participate in network audits and compliance checks 10. Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching 3. Hands-on experience supporting L1 and L2 network operations such as incident identification, troubleshooting, and resolution 4. Familiarity with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar devices 5. Knowledge of firewall configurations, VPN technologies, and network security basics 6. Ability to interpret network diagrams and technical documentation 7. Basic scripting knowledge for automation (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus 8. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment 9. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude 10. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment 11.
