Junior Frontend Engineer

As a Junior Frontend Engineer with 3-4 years of experience, you will play a key role in building and maintaining responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Your responsibilities will include implementing React components based on design specifications, writing clean and maintainable code following best practices, and collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be expected to fix bugs, resolve front-end issues, participate in code reviews, and continually enhance your skills to ensure exceptional user experiences and application performance. Familiarity with Redux Toolkit is considered a plus. You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in developing web applications using JavaScript and React-based frameworks, with at least 2 years of JavaScript experience and 1 year with TypeScript. Demonstrated experience in managing application state using Redux/Redux Toolkit or similar state management libraries is required. Experience with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel, as well as proficiency in writing comprehensive unit tests and utilizing testing libraries like React Testing Library, is essential. Moreover, you should be proficient in API integration and data fetching tools such as Axios, React Query, and RTK Query. Familiarity and experience with modern CSS methodologies like CSS Modules, LESS, SCSS, Styled Components, Emotion, or Tailwind CSS are expected. A strong understanding and hands-on experience with Git version control, as well as experience in maintaining and documenting React components with Storybook, are also required. Your primary requirements will include developing apps using React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, implementing React components based on design specifications, writing clean and maintainable code following React best practices, fixing bugs, resolving front-end issues in React components, engaging in code reviews, and enhancing React skills through team collaboration. The work location for this role is Jayanagar, Bangalore, and the work mode is office-based.
