Junior Financial Analyst

As a Junior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting Solutions at Flex, your role will involve supporting the teams in building great products and contributing to the company's growth. Your responsibilities will include performing all cost accounting activities as defined, understanding corporate policies, implementing time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives, collaborating with the operations team, and serving as a backup for the cost accountant. Key Responsibilities: - Perform all cost accounting activities as defined - Understand and follow corporate policies related to key cost accounting metrics - Implement time-saving/cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements - Collaborate with the operations team to track reasons for metric non-conformances - Post month-end journal entries for accruals and reclass in ERP - Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest processes and document them in DMS - Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant Qualifications Required: - Basic level knowledge in MS applications - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - Good team player with analytical skills - Willingness to learn and deploy skills in day-to-day processes - B.Com/BBA (Finance)/M.Com/MBA (Finance) Freshers or 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field - Good knowledge of MS Office and accounting principles - Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies In addition to the challenging and rewarding work environment, Flex provides benefits such as health insurance and paid time off for your contributions.
