Junior Fashion Designer

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Researching current fashion trends and determining what consumers will like

2. Research emerging trends of shapes, colors, and designs.

3. To visit fairs, markets, workshops, and mills for primary and secondary research/skills upgrades.

4. To create sketches/designs and help develop new products per brand guidelines and market trends.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the buying, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure design integrity.

6. Review and evaluate products for style and fitting during demonstrations.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in seamless garment designing.

2. Proficiency in SAP, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Tech pack, and Microsoft Office.

3. Bachelor's or master's degree in design or related field.

4. Strong communication and organizational skills.

5. Sharp and creative mind for innovative ideas.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
