Hiring Diploma Mechanical Engineers for Defence Products Development

Hiring process involves Written test and Personal Interview.

The skill set required.

· Engineering Fundamentals: Good grasp of mechanical engineering basics (mechanisms, tolerances, GD&T).

· Material Knowledge: Understanding of sheet metal, plastics, and precision machined parts (manufacturability, limitations, joining methods).

· 3D CAD & Drafting: Ability to read, interpret, and modify 2D/3D drawings.

· Assembly & Fitment: Hands-on skill in assembling mechanical systems with accuracy.

· Testing & Trials: Practical skills to conduct trials (projectile firing, deployment tests), handle test rigs, and record accurate results.

· Measurement Tools: Proficiency in calipers, micrometers, gauges, and test equipment for validation.

· Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot fitment, function, or test issues during trials.

· Observation & Documentation: Careful observation during tests (speed, distance, deployment) and systematic reporting.

· Adaptability: Flexibility to work with diverse materials and processes.
