Astr Defence Pvt Ltd company located near Hubli, karnataka, an award-winning Indian Defence Manufacturer, pioneering advanced weapon and counter-UAV systems for national security. Due to expansion we are hiring for the post of VMC Shop floor -- qualification --- DME / GTTC / BE-mech. · Production engineer for VMC shop floor will be responsible for the end-to-end management. This includes fixture setup and planning, tool selection and management, shift planning, operator supervision, quality checks, and coordination with design and CAM engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate production. · Oversee, manage and ensure machining operations are executed as per defined process plans and drawing requirements. · Selection of appropriate cutting tools and inserts as per machining requirements and maintain optimal tool inventory levels and manage tool life monitoring systems. · Plan and manage shift schedules and assign work to VMC operators and balance workloads according to production targets and machine operators.
