Job Summary:

The Junior DevOps Tool Engineer I supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of automation tools and processes to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management. This entry-level role involves assisting senior engineers in optimizing CI/CD pipelines and tool integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate tools and automate workflows.
Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
Document processes and assist in maintaining best practices.
Learn and adopt new DevOps tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internships or project experience in DevOps or software development.
Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
