You should possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or JavaScript, is required. Understanding of web development principles including front-end/back-end architecture, RESTful APIs, routing, session management, and basic security concepts is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, along with effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team. Hands-on experience with React and front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript is desirable. Familiarity with FastAPI or a strong interest in learning modern Python web frameworks is a plus. Basic understanding of microservice architecture and communication in distributed systems is beneficial. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is an advantage. Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases is preferred. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a bonus. An interest in health tech or familiarity with healthcare informatics standards will be advantageous. Curiosity or initial experience working with AI/LLM technologies, such as integrating AI features into applications or using LLM APIs, is a positive attribute.
