Junior Design Engineer

As a Junior Design Engineer with 12 years of experience in utility pole design and make-ready engineering, you will be responsible for working on U.S.-based telecom and power infrastructure projects. Your expertise in using Katapult, O-Calc, and AutoCAD will be crucial in preparing detailed construction packages. If you have previous experience with MREs or possess a deep understanding of aerial/underground utility networks, this role is tailored for you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create make-ready engineering (MRE) designs for telecom/power poles. - Utilize Katapult Pro and O-Calc Pro for pole loading, clearance checks, and structural validations. - Interpret field photos, survey notes, and GIS data to ensure design accuracy. - Generate permit-ready documents adhering to U.S. client standards (NESC, GO95, etc.). - Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure QA and meet delivery timelines. - Maintain structured documentation and change logs. **Qualifications Required:** - B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. - 12 years of experience in utility design or telecom projects. - Proficiency in at least two of the following: Katapult Pro, O-Calc Pro, AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of pole loading principles and NESC guidelines. - Willingness to work night shifts if required for U.S. collaboration. - Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation habits.
