As a Junior Data Analyst in the Tax Technology Transformation team at EY, your role will involve hands-on data manipulation using Python/Pandas to import, cleanse, and transform accounting datasets. You will be responsible for writing efficient Python scripts to automate data cleaning and reconciliation processes. Additionally, you will build data pipelines connecting to various data sources, apply practical data analysis techniques to interpret accounting data, and generate actionable insights. Your duties will also include performing reconciliations between tax data, accounting data, and financial statements, creating data visualizations and reports, as well as participating in team meetings and documenting technical processes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform hands-on data manipulation using Python/Pandas - Write efficient Python scripts for automating data cleaning and reconciliation - Build data pipelines connecting to SQL databases, Excel files, and APIs - Apply data analysis techniques to interpret accounting data - Perform reconciliations between tax data, accounting data, and financial statements - Create data visualizations and reports - Participate in team meetings and document technical processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, information technology, business analytics, or related field - Practical Python coding experience (1+ year) with a portfolio demonstrating real data manipulation with Pandas - Proficiency in Pandas skills such as DataFrame operations, merging datasets, groupby aggregations, and data cleaning techniques - Working knowledge of SQL queries and relational database concepts - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial data structures - Strong French and English communication skills (written and verbal) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel In the context of EY's Diversity policy, all applications are considered on an equal skills basis, including those from individuals with disabilities.
