Overview The ISS STOXX Index Sales Operation Associate is responsible for ensuring that data is distributed to correct client entities via packages and to users as negotiated and agreed by a contract. Overview Reporting to the Test Manager, the Software Engineer in Test works with a small team of Test Engineers within the Quality Assurance Team on all stages of the software development lifecycle. He / She will need to work closely with cross functional teams including Product and Project Managers, Development and Business Stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services to our clients. Responsibilities Candidate will be primarily responsible to meet Functional as well as Non-Functional testing requirements Contribute at each stage of STLC i.e. review requirements, test planning, creating testcases, setting up test environment, executing testcases & sharing results. Create test data wherever required along the testing cycle. Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify root cause and coordinate with respective teams for fixing and re-testing. Provide detailed, actionable feedback to development teams as well as other team involved to facilitate quick resolution of issues. Usage of Project Management Tools like Jira or equivalent throughout STLC. Regularly collaborate with members of global teams involved in the projects. Participate in scrum meetings with global teams and share regular updates. QA environment management and operation – deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting issues Provide technical support to other team members on projects. Participate in API testing using existing tools / frameworks / create mock services to test APIs. Flexible to participate in other forms of Functional as well as Non-functional testing like (but not limited to) Automation, Security & Performance Testing using different tool & technologies like Java/Selenium, Cypress, Jmeter, etc. Based on the project need, this may take up 20-30% or higher of the overall delivery. Flexible to learn new process / technologies as per the team need & expansion. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline required. Master’s Degree preferred. 4-6 years of manual & automation testing experience required. Candidate with web application testing experience preferred. QA/software testing or development experience including hands on scripting (automation) or coding experience in any programming language. Java or an OOPL preferred.
