Junior Architect

Role Objective:

The Junior Architect will be responsible for leading the design of Eco Habitat projects, working with stake holders to understand their needs, and developing creative solutions that meet their requirements. He/ she will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior architects, ensuring that they are able to deliver high-quality work that meets the highest industry standards. This position is for a creative thinker with a passion for sustainable design.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Review architectural and engineering drawings and coordinate with consultants throughout development process. Providing guidance to sub consultants like MEP, structural and landscape architects, and coordinate with them to develop design and design specifications. Manage subconsultants and coordinate their consultancy and evaluate their payments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of architectural and engineering codes, ordinances, and regulations. Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental regulations.
• Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials. Conduct research and formulate recommendations for site planning, architectural, MEP, structural issues, and scheduling.
• Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
• Liaising with various departments within the organization to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
• Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date architectural records, including construction drawings and specifications
• Manage project schedules and track progress
•  Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.

Minimum Requirements:

Level of Education

• Registered architect with Council of Architecture
• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• Masters Degree in architecture/ City Planning/ Sustainability though preferable is not essential.
• Ability to speak , write and read English & Hindi is must
• Ability to speak Telugu though preferable, not essential

Experience:

Software Skills :

Technical Knowledge:

• A good portfolio and about 1 to 3 years of work experience as an Architect.
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
• In-depth understanding of CAD and REVIT software. Knowledge of Ms Office (PPT, Excel and word)
• Knowledge of Sketch up and Lumion / other visualisation software will be an advantage.
