Operating in over 100 countries, WPP is a world leader in marketing services, with a focus on AI, data, technology, and creative talent. **Role Overview:** You will be joining WPP in a technology-driven finance role, leveraging your knowledge in data science, automation technologies, and programming such as Python to drive finance transformation through AI and digital tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Audit Support & Reconciliation:** - Support reconciliation projects focusing on statutory accounts data, audit fees, and LEID discrepancies. - Assist with data collection, analysis, validation, and cleaning for accurate audit purposes. - Track audit progress and monitor audit fee adjustments. - **Audit Automation Support:** - Develop and test automated systems for financial audits and reconciliations. - Collaborate to implement reconciliation tools enhancing audit accuracy and efficiency. - **Data Validation and Cleaning:** - Ensure consistency and accuracy across various systems through data validation efforts. - Clean and preprocess data for use in automated systems and analytical models. - **System Testing:** - Participate in testing and debugging automated systems to enhance functionality. - Provide feedback on system performance and suggest improvements. - **Data Quality Maintenance:** - Monitor and maintain data quality standards in audit automation processes. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies. - **Process Documentation:** - Create detailed process maps and flowcharts to document existing and new audit automation systems. - Maintain up-to-date records of workflows and procedures. - **AI & Digital Innovation Contribution:** - Assist in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions for financial processes. - Support data automation projects using ETL tools and programming languages. - Contribute to the design and development of applications using Microsoft Power tools. **Qualifications Required:** - Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration program. - Basic knowledge of Python programming. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Genuine interest in AI, digital innovation, and data automation in finance. - Familiarity with data validation, cleaning, or reconciliation tools is a plus. - Experience with process mapping or flowchart creation is a bonus. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates with experience in ETL tools, programming languages, Microsoft Power tools, and a genuine interest in AI and digital innovation are preferred.
