Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc
as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist with other accounting projects
Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaid; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals
Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries
Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent report/email writing, Email communication, and IT skills
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Tally and ERP Accounting software packages
