Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant located in Panipat, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements, managing procurement records, and updating student fee records. With 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, preferably in an educational or institutional setting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring transaction accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and submitting tax documents, GST filings, and other statutory financial reports, supporting internal and external audits, and assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Additionally, you will contribute to budget planning, expenditure tracking, and financial forecasting while collaborating with auditors, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills for financial reporting and data analysis, proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks, and a strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST, TDS), and financial regulations. Your ability to analyze financial data, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial reporting will be essential. Moreover, good communication skills are required to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
