Job Description

WebCodeGenie Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Quality Analyst who is a fresher and possesses the qualities of being self-driven, solution-oriented, and adept at working both independently and in coordination with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They should have a basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Additionally, familiarity with manual testing concepts, mobile app testing, and responsive design testing is required. The candidate should have the ability to conduct UI, functional, exploratory, and usability testing and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with knowledge of bug-tracking tools like Mantis. Attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and effective communication skills are also key attributes. Key responsibilities of the role include understanding business and functional requirements for web and mobile applications, creating detailed test cases, scenarios, and data, executing tests for functionality, UI, and usability, reporting defects using bug-tracking tools, conducting cross-browser and cross-platform testing, ensuring compatibility across different screen sizes and OS versions, performing regression and re-testing, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve defects, and maintaining proper documentation of test cases, execution reports, and defect logs. Overall, the Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of web and mobile applications through thorough testing and collaboration with various teams.,
