Jr. PPC Engineer

Job Summary:

Junior Engineer – PPC

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in

  creating and maintaining production schedules

  based on order requirements, project timelines, and resource availability.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and quality departments to ensure

  smooth flow of manufacturing operations

  .
• Monitor

  material availability

  , work orders, and job cards to avoid delays and ensure on-time delivery.
• Track the

  status of in-process jobs

  , update dashboards, and escalate delays to the PPC head or management.
• Generate and maintain

  production MIS reports

  , including daily/weekly production plans, machine loading charts, and delivery status reports.
• Assist in analyzing

  capacity utilization

  , machine loading, and manpower planning.
• Support

  inventory control

  by coordinating with the stores and procurement teams for raw material and component availability.
• Help identify and resolve bottlenecks or capacity constraints in coordination with shop floor teams.
  
• Ensure

  documentation accuracy

  including work orders, production plans, and logs for internal audits and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

  in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in

  pharma machinery or capital equipment

  industry.
• Basic understanding of

  manufacturing processes, production planning

  , and inventory management.
• Familiarity with

  ERP systems

  (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or custom systems).
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially

  Excel

  (knowledge of pivot tables, charts, etc. is a plus).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of

  Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen

  principles.
• Familiarity with BOM structures and routings.
  
• Experience in coordinating across multiple departments in a time-sensitive environment.
  
• Understanding of

  machine shop / fabrication / assembly

  processes is an advantage.
