Jr. Java Developer

We are seeking a talented programmer with a strong understanding of Java and proficiency in front-end languages to contribute to the development of Java applications. As a Java Programmer, you will be responsible for building complex modules of back-end services, including APIs for web and mobile platforms, as well as implementing intricate logics. Your main role will involve designing and developing applications while collaborating with team members across different layers of the infrastructure. Demonstrating a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate should possess the following technical skills: - Programming Languages: Java (Core, Advanced, and Collections) - Frameworks: Spring, Kafka, Hibernate - IDEs: Eclipse, NetBeans - Servers: Apache Tomcat - Databases: MySQL 8.0 and above, MongoDB, Cassandra - Front-End Languages: HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSL, CSS, Bootstrap - Other Skills: Data Preparation and Analytics Generation - Task Management Tools: GitHub and JIRA Key Responsibilities: - Review functional requirement documents and consult with the reporting manager before commencing development. - Plan development tasks meticulously to minimize rework and obtain approval from the reporting manager. - Execute development tasks within the specified schedule, ensuring high quality and error-free work. - Create and maintain a development tasks document in a prescribed format. - Collaborate with team members as necessary. - Perform Unit Testing or Integration Testing for self-developed modules prior to submission to the QA department, and document test cases. - Utilize task management tools for development tasks, including commenting, time tracking, and delivering to QA for quality assurance. - Promptly address issues reported by the QA department to ensure smooth delivery. - Involve relevant stakeholders in case of uncertainties and seek clarification. - Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, recommending process improvements. - Translate requirements into specifications and identify application issues for both production and non-production environments. - Demonstrate patience, perseverance, and a willingness to acquire new skills and technologies. - Efficiently manage team members and provide accurate reporting.
