Role Overview: NSN Studio Divine is seeking a full-time Interior Design Fresher/Intern to join their team in Gurugram. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design team by assisting in various tasks such as preparing 2D drawings, selecting materials, organizing mood boards, and contributing to design presentations. You will be actively involved in ongoing projects, participate in site visits, coordinate with vendors, and ensure that all work aligns with the company's design language and project objectives. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about interior design. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing design concepts, layouts, and mood boards under the guidance of senior designers. - Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, space plans, and technical layouts as required. - Support in sourcing materials, finishes, fabrics, and vendor samples while maintaining an organized material library. - Create clean, professional presentations using PowerPoint/Canva for client meetings and internal reviews. - Participate in regular site visits to take measurements, document progress, and ensure design accuracy during execution. - Assist in communicating design details, following up on samples, and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and suppliers. - Maintain project files, BOQs, design notes, and revision logs to ensure smooth workflow and team alignment. - Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, furnishings, and interior design innovations. - Support the team in reviewing on-site work to ensure it aligns with design standards and specifications. - Work closely with the design and execution teams, contributing actively with ideas, organization, and a willingness to learn. Qualifications & Skills: - Strong foundation in Interior Design principles, including space planning, materials, and basic technical detailing. - Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drawings, measurements, and layout planning (mandatory). - Basic knowledge of software like PowerPoint, Excel, and Canva for presentations and documentation. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Ability to create clean and organized design presentations, mood boards, and material boards. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Willingness to participate in site visits, take measurements, and assist in on-site coordination. - Awareness of current interior design trends, materials, and best practices is an advantage. - A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a genuine passion for interiors. - Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field (preferred; final-year students may also apply for internships).
