Jr Civil Engineer DESIGN (LAND DEVELOPMENT) I, II, III

As a Civil Engineer at Studio Chintala located in Bangalore/Hyderabad, you will be a valuable addition to our Land Development team, supporting U.S.-based projects in land development and site/civil engineering. Working closely with senior engineers and project managers in both India and the U.S., you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of various projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare land development & site civil construction drawings/documents including roads, utilities, grading, drainage, and erosion control. - Assist in zoning, preliminary, and concept land development plans. - Work on site grading, stormwater management, and safety design under senior guidance. - Draft soil erosion & sediment control plans such as BMPs, swales, spillways, and sequences. - Prepare water & sewer plans according to U.S. local agency requirements. - Research standards/codes and effectively respond to agency review comments. - Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Education in the United States is preferred. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in site/civil land planning and engineering. - Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD. - Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. - Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Experience with U.S. or Maryland land development projects is preferred, although not required.
