Jr. Career Counsellor

The Junior Career Counsellor will play a vital role in supporting the career guidance and development programs for high school students. This position focuses on organizing and coordinating activity clubs, internships, externship opportunities, and expert-led sessions while assisting the Head Counsellor in providing personalized student support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Meetings and Counseling Support:

• Prepare a pool of important resources for upskilling and upgrading high school students
• Maintain a student progress database for effective follow-up.
• Schedule one-on-one counselling sessions between students and the head counsellor.
• Maintain and manage the session calendar for efficient coordination.
• Helping Students with college application-related processes

. Activity Club Coordination:

• Organize and oversee various activity clubs to ensure consistent engagement and participation.
• Monitor student progress and encourage active involvement in club initiatives.
• Coordinate with mentors and academic team for the regular sessions

3. Expert Sessions Coordination:

• Arrange expert intervention sessions with universities, professionals, and industry experts.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to schedule engaging and insightful workshops or seminars.
• Ensure all sessions are well-organized and meet the learning needs of high school students.

4. In-House Internship Program Coordination:

• Manage the planning and execution of the schools internal internship programs.
• Identify suitable opportunities within the school ecosystem for student internships.
• Supervise and document student participation and performance.

5. External Externship Program Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate externship programs during school vacations in collaboration with external organizations.
• Act as the primary liaison between students, parents, and externship providers.
• Ensure a seamless process from application to completion and provide necessary support during the externship.
