Jr. Architect

You will be working as an Architectural Draftsman at EDGE ARCHITECTS, located in Navi Mumbai. Your role will involve assisting in architectural design, preparing project documentation, and collaborating with senior architects to develop functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions. As a Jr. Architect, you will conduct site visits, create design concepts, integrate software solutions into designs, and participate in project management activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed working drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, developing precise architectural plans, sections, and elevations based on design specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project teams to refine technical details, utilizing CAD software like AutoCAD and Revit to produce construction drawings, reviewing and revising drawings based on client and consultant feedback, and maintaining accuracy and consistency in all technical documentation. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software is required, along with a strong understanding of construction techniques and materials. You should be able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, possess attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and ideally have experience in preparing BOQs and technical documentation.
