Job Description

As an Accountant/Jr. Accountant in the jewelry industry based in Dubai and Sharjah, your role will involve handling day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries. You will be responsible for managing purchase, sales, and inventory records specific to jewelry items. Additionally, you will reconcile bank statements, manage petty cash, and prepare accurate financial reports. Collaboration with internal teams for billing and stock audits, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations, and utilizing jewelry-specific accounting software for smooth operations will also be part of your key responsibilities. Moreover, you will support audit preparation and documentation. Your qualifications should include a minimum of 15 years of experience in the jewelry industry, familiarity with basic accounting principles and data entry, proficiency in jewelry accounting software such as Brinks, Wingold, or similar, experience in inventory management, good communication and coordination abilities, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
