Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and ledgers in accordance with accounting principles and company policies. Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts. Transaction Processing: Assist in processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports. Support the preparation of payroll and ensure accurate record-keeping. Assist in managing petty cash and preparing cash flow statements. Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents. Help ensure that financial statements are accurate and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. Help maintain proper filing and documentation for audit trails. Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and variances. Support in preparing financial analysis reports for management review. Help with budgeting and forecasting activities as required. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department. Assist in organizing and maintaining accounting files and records. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and suggest enhancements. Help implement new procedures to streamline accounting functions and increase efficiency.
