Jr. Account Executive

As a Junior Executive in Accounts & Finance based in Ahmedabad, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day accounting, compliance, and financial operations. This position is well-suited for individuals with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and a strong desire to enhance their expertise in the field of finance. Your responsibilities will include: - Recording daily accounting transactions in Tally. - Assisting in monthly book closure activities. - Managing vendor invoice entries and conducting basic reconciliations. - Supporting the preparation of data for GST, TDS, and ROC filings. - Coordinating with external consultants for statutory compliance matters. - Maintaining compliance trackers and records. - Assisting in the preparation of 15CA/CB documentation for remittances. - Collaborating in gathering and submitting necessary documents to banks or financial advisors. - Reconciling vendor/client accounts and organizing documents for audits or client/vendor requests. - Updating Google Sheets or Excel trackers used for MIS reports. To excel in this role, you should possess: Technical Skills: - Fundamental knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations. - Proficiency in using Tally and MS Excel. - Understanding of core accounting principles. Behavioral Skills: - Excellent communication and coordination abilities. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work. - A proactive problem-solving approach and a drive to take initiative. Educational Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or Accounting. - Pursuing CA Inter or similar certification is a plus. - Immediate joiners and candidates from Ahmedabad are highly preferred.
