Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring production, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance. • Machine Operation:Setting up and operating plastic molding machines (injection, compression, etc.) to produce parts according to specifications.
• Quality Control:Inspecting molded parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Process Monitoring:Monitoring machine operation, adjusting settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and troubleshooting issues.
• Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance on machines, cleaning, and ensuring proper functioning.
• Material Handling:Handling plastic materials, including mixing, loading hoppers, and preparing materials for molding.
• Safety Compliance:Following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to safety regulations.
• Documentation:Completing production reports, recording data, and reporting issues to supervisors.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

• Injection Molding Operator:Sets up and operates injection molding machines, monitors production, and performs quality checks.
• Mold Setter:Installs and removes molds from injection molding machines, sets up auxiliary equipment, and ensures proper machine setup.
• Injection Molding Technician:Troubleshoots and repairs molding equipment, assists with process optimization, and performs maintenance.
• Injection Molding Engineer:Designs and develops injection molds, optimizes manufacturing processes, and ensures quality and efficiency.
