Role Overview: The Nursing Coordinator will be responsible for supervising and supporting nursing teams, streamlining operations across wards and units, and ensuring compliance with clinical and safety standards. This leadership role requires someone with a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed and resources are efficiently allocated Monitor the quality of nursing care delivery, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and adherence to hospital protocols Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; identify skill gaps and plan internal training sessions accordingly Coordinate between doctors, nursing staff, and hospital administration to ensure seamless patient care Ensure nursing documentation and patient records are accurate, updated, and in line with regulatory requirements Manage and review nursing SOPs, ensuring compliance with current clinical practices and hospital standards Participate in audits, accreditations, and other quality initiatives Handle incident reporting, grievance redressal, and performance feedback within the nursing team Support new staff onboarding and help create a positive, professional, and ethical work culture Candidate Profile: Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / PB B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing Experience: Minimum 1–5 years in a nursing leadership or coordinator role License: Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council Strong knowledge of clinical protocols, nursing best practices, and hospital workflows Excellent people management, conflict resolution, and communication skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and make effective decisions in real-time Proficient in nursing documentation, shift planning, and resource allocation Why Join A4 Hospital?
