This role is ideal for a recent graduate or professional with up to 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and promoting a culture of safety at the workplace. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at the site. - Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard identification checks. - Support site teams in implementing safety protocols and emergency procedures. - Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as per statutory norms. - Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions. - Coordinate with subcontractors and workers to ensure adherence to safety measures. - Report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices, and follow up on corrective actions. - Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety or Industrial Safety (mandatory). - 0-2 years of relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects. - Knowledge of local, state, and national safety laws and regulations. - Strong communication and observation skills. - Proficient in MS Office and safety documentation/reporting. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
