Counseling and Enrollment: Counseling youth and their families on training and placement opportunities, motivating them to enroll in programs, and ensuring they understand the benefits. Relationship Building: Building strong rapport with local stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and influencers. Follow-up and Support: Maintaining records of mobilization efforts, tracking candidate attendance, and providing ongoing support and motivation during training. Collaboration: Working closely with trainers, center staff, and project teams to ensure smooth onboarding and training of enrolled candidates. Data Management: Maintaining mobilization and outreach records in a prescribed format and sharing regular reports with project leads and MIS teams. Event Organization: Assisting in organizing job drives and employer engagement events to increase employment opportunities for trainees. Digital Marketing: Utilizing basic knowledge of digital marketing to run campaigns and increase awareness of skill development programs. Awareness: Creating awareness about government/PSU schemes and free skill development courses. Essential Skills and Qualities: Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, both written and verbal, is crucial for effectively interacting with candidates and stakeholders. Community Engagement: A genuine desire to work with communities and a passion for empowering individuals. Patience and Motivation: The ability to patiently counsel and motivate youth and their families, particularly those from underserved communities. Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals. Fieldwork and Travel: Willingness to spend time in the community and travel to different locations. Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office or Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.
