Coordinate with design team to resolve any technical issues that arise during construction. 2. Site Layout & Measurement Set out levels, elevations, and alignments using surveying instruments. Verify the accuracy of site measurements and layouts before work begins. 3. Quality Assurance Monitor work to ensure materials and workmanship meet required quality standards. Conduct inspections and tests on materials and structural elements. Prepare quality reports and ensure compliance with construction codes. 4. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and office project team to ensure smooth project execution. Act as a point of contact between the site team and project engineers. Participate in progress meetings and contribute to planning updates. 5. Health & Safety Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report and manage any safety issues or incidents on-site. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain site diaries and records of work progress, issues, and inspections. Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly progress reports. Assist with preparation of as-built drawings and technical documentation. 7. Material & Equipment Management Check and confirm materials received on-site against specifications and delivery notes. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material delivery. Ensure proper usage and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
