This dual role is ideal for someone who not only has a strong command over Tally and bookkeeping but is also interested in contributing to overall business growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance (Tally): Record and maintain all day-to-day financial transactions using Tally Prime. Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation & inventory. Generate invoices, purchase bills, and maintain stock records. Business Operations: Assist the proprietor in daily business activities including order processing, inventory control, and supplier/vendor coordination. Monitor stock levels, assist in purchase planning and manage incoming and outgoing goods. Handle billing, payment follow-ups, and client communication. Requirements: Proven experience (1+ years preferred) as an accountant or accounts assistant, preferably in a trading or wholesale business. Proficiency in Tally Prime . Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and stock management. Basic understanding over MS Excel. Ability to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferably fluent in Hindi, Odia, and basic English.
