Job Description

Job Title:SAP MM Consultant Lead

Experience Required:

Job Summary:

SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and customize SAP MM modules including:

Purchasing
Inventory Management
Material Master Data
Vendor Master Data
Invoice Verification

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with SAP FI, SD, PP, and WM modules.
Support procurement cycles, inventory audits, and material planning activities.
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Prepare functional specifications, user manuals, and documentation.
Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects.
Provide training and post-implementation support to end-users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support.
Strong understanding of procurement and inventory processes in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST) and procurement compliance.
Familiarity with integration points between MM and other SAP modules.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven experience leading a team of at least 5 members in a production support and development environment.
Working Knowledge of PP BOM & Routing
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP MM certification.
Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA migration.
Exposure to global SAP implementations and multi-plant environments.
Knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management) or EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus.
