Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Technical Expertise

1. SFMC Core Skills (Required)

  • Advanced proficiency in

    Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    Data Extensions

    , data relationships, and

    segmentation

    strategies.
  • Experience in building complex customer journeys, including multi-channel and personalized communications.

Scripting

  • Expert in

    AMPscript

    and (Potentially

    SSJS

    ) for dynamic email content and custom scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with

    SQL

    for data manipulation within SFMC.

3. API and Integrations

  • Experience with REST and SOAP

    APIs

    for integrating SFMC with external systems.
  • Knowledge of

    API Event Triggers and custom activities within Journey Builder

    .
  • Understanding of integration patterns between SFMC and Salesforce CRM or other third-party platforms.

4. Data and Analytics

  • Ability to design and implement custom reporting using SFMC reporting tools and data views.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics and AI-driven features like Einstein Engagement Scoring.

Process and Frameworks

1. Agile and Kanban Delivery

  • Experience working in Agile (specifically Kanban) delivery environments, with tools like

2. Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Experience in testing colleague solution for quality control purposes

3. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
