Job Summary:

Tech Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, build, and maintain infrastructure for

  AppSec and Penetration Testing tools

  .
• Ensure performance, uptime, and security across

  cloud (Azure)

  and

  on-premises

  environments.
• Manage operational workflows including tool updates, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tool integration and support.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards across all UBS systems.
• Analyze application/system issues and define corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and technical communication for all infrastructure components.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in

  IT Security Engineering

  , with a focus on integration, automation, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in setting up infrastructure for

  Application Security

  and

  Penetration Testing

  tools.
• Strong understanding of how AppSec and PenTest tools function and integrate within enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of the

  Azure cloud ecosystem

  and its native capabilities.
• Experience with

  DevOps pipelines

  , automation tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Solid grasp of

  networking

  ,

  operating systems

  , and

  version control systems

  (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies

  and working in large, complex organizations.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tools like

  Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Fortify, Qualys, or similar

  .
• Exposure to

  Terraform

  ,

  ARM templates

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Understanding of

  security compliance frameworks

  and risk mitigation strategies.
