Jigs and Fixture Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Well versed with Engineering & manufacturing drawings
• Good knowledge on manufacturing processes
• Proficient in GD&T (standards ASME Y 14.5, JES 161)
• Experience in jigs and fixture design for Electroninc/ intrecate products.
• Knowledge on CNC machines 3-axis and 5-axis
• Proficient in NX (Modeling, Detailing and Assembly
• Knowledge of Sureface design in in CATIA V5 would be added an advantage

• Read and understand the Engineering drawing
• Understand manufacturing process planning or manufacturing outline
• Develop machining fixture concept for electronic consumer products
• Develop Milling and Drilling fixtures.
• Modeling and Detailing of fixture components in UG NX
• Understanding and application of GD&T
• Material selection for Jigs and fixture design
• Use of off the shelf parts
• Weight optimization
• Ability to understand the Roughness values and welding symbols
• Understand machining Strategy and tool path
• Understand the cutting tools
• Good Communication skills
• Good team player
