Jewellery Supervisor oversees daily retail operations, managing staff, ensuring high sales and customer service standards, and maintaining inventory and visual merchandising. Key responsibilities include training and motivating sales teams, achieving sales targets, implementing promotional strategies, and resolving customer issues. Qualifications typically include prior retail or jewellery supervision experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the jewellery industry and market trends. Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Management: Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals. Sales and Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, handle complaints and inquiries, and build customer loyalty. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishment. Merchandising & Presentation: Oversee the presentation of merchandise, maintain high standards of visual display, and ensure the showroom is clean and organized. Operations: Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data and reports, and collaborate with management on strategies. Required QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the retail, preferably jewellery, sector. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team. Sales Acumen: Strong sales background with a track record of achieving targets. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of jewellery products, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Operational Skills: Knowledge of inventory management, visual merchandising, and retail operations. Desirable SkillsProficiency with retail software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and CRM software. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
