Jewellery Cad Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate 3D designs for jewelry pieces using CAD software (preferably Rhino, JewelCAD).
• Work closely with design teams to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring practicality for production.
• Prepare designs for prototyping and manufacturing, ensuring that all technical specifications are met.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback from clients, the design team, or manufacturers.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in jewelry design and technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in jewelry CAD design, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, JewelCAD, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes (casting, 3D printing, etc.).
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in design work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• A degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with 3D rendering and visualization is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to present and explain designs effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work with both traditional and digital design techniques.
• Experience in gemstones, metal types, and finishes used in jewelry.
• Knowledge of design trends and innovations in the jewelry industry.
