Jewellery CAD Designer

As a Jewelry CAD Designer at our dynamic global team in the jewelry operations office, you will have the opportunity to bring intricate and detailed designs to life by crafting stunning 3D jewelry models that align with our global design vision. Your main responsibilities will include: - Creating detailed 3D models of intricate jewelry designs using advanced CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix Gold. - Interpreting sketches or design briefs/concepts to transform them into realistic, high-quality 3D models for design review and feedback. - Working closely with design and operations teams to implement design briefs while ensuring all creative and technical aspects are addressed. - Ensuring all designs meet our strict quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. - Staying updated with the latest trends in jewelry design, CAD technologies, and industry innovations. - Conducting quality control checks on designs to ensure precision and quality before production. - Preparing and optimizing CAD files for production, including 3D printing and other manufacturing processes. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Proven experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer or in a similar jewelry design role, preferably within jewelry manufacturing or working with international jewelry brands/retailers. - Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix Gold, JewelCAD, or equivalent. - Strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure designs are both aesthetically pleasing and feasible for production. - Basic understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and the ability to design with production in mind. - Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies is a plus. - Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines. - Clear communication skills and the ability to incorporate constructive feedback to refine designs.
