Job Description

Primary Skills: JBOSS Secondary Skills: Linux MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 2 Years experience in JBOSS administration Proficient level/knowledge of middleware JBOSS environments High level of Linux/Unix administration Ticketing tools (Service NOW) DESIRABLE AND VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge in Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) Knowledge in Apache Tomcat. LANGUAGES: English C2 / Mother language Desirable spanish/italian as a second language RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation of administration on Linux/Unix environments and JBOSS. (start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, incident resolution, problem solving, infrastructure changes, impact analysis...) Responsible for monitoring, maintenance, and resolution of incidents and problems in business applications. Identification and understanding of errors in process logs for subsequent action. Contact with other technical groups (Development, Systems, Databases, Middleware...) as well as escalation and tracking of incidents dependent on these groups. Creation and monitoring of event-alarms to ensure service levels. Creation of automations to streamline tasks and better monitor end-to-end business processes for early detection of errors/problems in the application back-end, increasing their availability. Analysis of infrastructure changes and identification of their impact on business. Identification and execution of necessary tasks to address infrastructure changes. Development, updating, and maintenance of infrastructure/platform documentation and procedural documentation for other teams. Reporting to area managers, executives, and directors on the status of systems and applications, as well as reporting and updating the status of technical issues impacting them. Participation in technical meetings for resolution of major incidents. Location : Mumbai NOte: Looking for Immediate joiners
