Java with ORMB

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play a key role in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Some key responsibilities include: - Utilizing knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements - Consulting with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommending programming solutions - Applying fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications - Analyzing applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conducting testing and debugging - Serving as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identifying problems, analyzing information, and recommending and implementing solutions - Resolving issues independently with acquired technical experience Additionally, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Strong expertise in Java, SQL, ORM, and web services - Strong understanding of ORMB technical architecture, framework, and application layers - Hands-on experience with ORMB configuration and Oracle Utilities Application Framework technologies - Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL - Excellent communication skills and ability to lead the team - Experience in functional and non-functional testing support, production support, and postproduction hyper-care - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level overview of the role.
