Java with ORMB - C11 - PUNE

As an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst at Citigroup, your role will involve participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements - Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions - Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing and debugging - Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identify problems, analyze information, and recommend and implement solutions - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision - Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets Qualifications: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role - Strong expertise in Java, SQL, ORM, and web services - Strong understanding of ORMB technical architecture, framework, and application layers - Experience in designing real-time and batch programs to meet business requirements - In-depth knowledge of inbound web services and batch programs for data transfer - Hands-on experience with ORMB configuration, Oracle Utilities Application Framework technologies - Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL - Excellent communication skills and ability to lead the team - Experience in testing support, production support, and postproduction hyper-care - Problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
