Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Liferay DXP Developer

to design, develop, and maintain

web applications

on the

Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP)

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Liferay 7.4 upgrades

, module development, and customization of OOTB portlets. This role requires collaboration with

cross-functional teams

to gather business requirements and implement effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop, test, and deploy

    web applications

    using the

    Liferay DXP platform

    .

  • Upgrade various

    modules and hooks

    to

    Liferay 7.4

    .

  • Work with

    business stakeholders

    to gather requirements and translate them into

    technical solutions

    .

  • Design and implement

    customizations and extensions

    for Liferay DXP.

  • Ensure

    clean, efficient, and maintainable code

    , following best development practices.

  • Conduct

    code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting

    to maintain code quality and application performance.

  • Apply

    Agile and DevOps methodologies

    to software development processes.

  • Customize

    OOTB (Out-of-the-Box) portlets

    such as

    Document and Media, Journal Article, Users & Orgs, and Knowledge Base

    .


Technical Skills & Qualifications:



  • Strong experience with

    Liferay DXP

    , including

    Liferay 7.4 upgrades

    .

  • Proficiency in

    Java, JSP, and Liferay development frameworks

    .

  • Experience in

    portlet development, hooks, themes, and service builder

    .

  • Knowledge of

    Liferay APIs, web services, and integrations

    .

  • Familiarity with

    Agile & DevOps methodologies

    for software development.

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with

    RESTful services, SQL databases, and front-end technologies

    is a plus.
