Java Technical Lead

Technical Lead Java Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: 7 to 12 years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Lead Java to drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot, and the ability to mentor teams while collaborating across functions. This role offers a balance of hands-on coding and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of developers in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot. Own technical delivery for large modules/projects and ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Define and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and architecture principles. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments. Oversee deployment processes and ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integrations. Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement in technologies and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications:

712 years of Java development experience with at least 3+ years in a lead or architect-level role. Strong command of Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture. Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs, secure web services, and distributed systems. Expertise in JPA/Hibernate, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), and database optimization. Solid experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) and application performance tuning. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architectures. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
