Role Overview: As a Java Backend Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing backend services using Java (Spring Boot) to support high-throughput transaction systems. You will be responsible for implementing non-blocking, asynchronous processing using tools like Reactive Programming (WebFlux/Project Reactor) and developing secure, robust, and scalable RESTful APIs. Ensuring thread safety, connection pooling, fault-tolerant design, and optimizing JVM performance for high-concurrency loads will be crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, managing distributed transactions, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), event-driven architecture, and designing database models for high-speed storage/retrieval (MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL) will be part of your daily tasks. You will also be required to perform load testing, stress testing, and fine-tune performance bottlenecks, as well as collaborating with DevOps to ensure CI/CD, containerization (Docker/K8s), and autoscaling in production. Implementing security standards (PCI-DSS, OAuth2, JWT) and fraud detection patterns will also be essential.
