Java Spring Boot Developer

You are a skilled and experienced Java Developer with expertise in Struts, Hibernate, and Oracle Database. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness. You will be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Java, Struts, and Hibernate frameworks. It is important to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while also developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures on Oracle Database. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements is a key aspect of the role. Troubleshooting and debugging application issues across development, test, and production environments will be part of your routine. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to improving development standards and practices, and ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Maintaining proper documentation of the development process is crucial for this position. The ideal candidate must possess strong programming skills in Core Java / J2EE, hands-on experience with Struts (Struts 1.x or 2.x), and proficiency in Hibernate for ORM and database interaction. Experience with Oracle Database, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, is essential. Understanding of MVC architecture and enterprise application development is required, along with familiarity with tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven/Ant, and Git/SVN. Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered a plus. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, and good communication and problem-solving skills. The expected experience level for this position is 5 to 10 years. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires availability for a face-to-face interview at the Turbhe location.
