Description
As a Full-Stack Developer at EY, you will play a crucial role in shaping a better working world by developing innovative solutions and contributing to diverse teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Platforms: Collaborate with Infrastructure partners to establish development, testing, and production environments. Define scalability and performance criteria for products. Assist in defining reconciliation testing procedures between legacy and modernized security master file implementations. - Requirements Elaboration: Work with the Functional Architect to ensure that non-functional requirements are complete and appropriate. - Data Modeling: Ensure that the physical data model supports performance, privacy, and security requirements. - System Performance: Propose solutions that meet performance requirements, validate performance requirements through test strategy, and address application performance issues. - Security: Understand corporate information security standards and ensure that test plans validate security requirements. - Standards: Recommend and promote technical solutions that align with corporate standards. - Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation to facilitate modernization and migration from legacy systems. - Familiarity with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and leading the team in process best practices. - Balancing cost, schedule, and requirements in developing solutions. - Rolling out standards and policies to team members. - Ensuring that practices support success across all geographic locations. - Mitigating risks by following established procedures, monitoring controls, identifying key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in technical/computer discipline or related experience. - 5+ years of experience in Java application development, including Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, Java design patterns, with experience in Java 8. - 5+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL Query development, Stored Procedure development. - Experience with Unix/Linux environment & distributed system architecture. - Experience with IntelliJ/Eclipse, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins. - Experience with RESTful API development, Swagger/OpenAI specifications. - Experience deploying to and configuring Tomcat application servers. - Experience with ETL & real-time data processing. - Experience deploying standalone Java batch applications and basic Unix commands. - Experience with Agile development, including Scrum and Kanban, and the use of JIRA. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team environment. - Experience with Python, Snowflake is strongly preferred.
